Many of the facilities we service produce hazardous and non-hazardous waste in large amounts as a byproduct of their processes which requires bulk waste disposal services. MLi Environmental is able to safely manage your regular drum waste pickups and ensure waste is properly disposed of.
What is Bulk Waste?
Bulk containerized waste includes waste that is packaged into drums ranging from 5 to 55 gallons in size up to intermediate bulk containers (IBCs). This type of waste is enclosed in a drum or IBC without any other form of containment supporting it. In other words, the “skin” of the container is the only material keeping the waste contained.
Common waste streams may include:
- Used solvents
- Laboratory fixatives and stains
- Spent acids and bases
- Unused or expired products
- Hydraulic and motor oils
- Paints and thinners
Bulk Waste Disposal Options
- Secure chemical landfill
- Fuel blending
At MLi our chemists are able to provide onsite waste analysis, identification, and classification. We generate a waste profile to legally and safely ship your hazardous and non-hazardous material for proper disposal. Each waste stream is profiled based on the characteristics of the constituents and properly disposed of or recycled at a government-certified transfer, storage and disposal facility (TSDFs).
